Job Description

As an Interim legal consultant with RAYNE, you will step into crucial legal roles within our clients’ organisations, providing expert guidance during transitional periods. Whether serving as an interim general counsel or taking on specific legal projects, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring legal continuity and compliance. Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as an interim legal counsel or general counsel, managing legal operations during periods of transition.

  • Provide strategic legal advice to clients across various sectors, ensuring compliance with local and international laws.

  • Oversee and manage legal projects, including contract negotiations, litigation, mergers & acquisitions, and regulatory compliance.

  • Collaborate with internal and external legal teams to support the client’s business objectives.

  • Conduct legal research.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry-specific regulations and legal trends in Dubai and the UAE.

  • Adapt quickly to new environments and client needs, delivering high-quality legal services within tight deadlines.

Qualification Needed

Education and Experience:

  • Juris Doctor (JD), Bachelor of Laws (LLB), or equivalent degree from an accredited law school.

  • A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a legal practice, with a focus on corporate law, commercial law, or general counsel roles.

  • Proven experience in interim legal consultant jobs or similar short-term legal roles, particularly within the UK.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage legal operations effectively during transitional periods.

  • In-depth knowledge of corporate governance, contract law, and regulatory compliance in London and the UK.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working closely with executive teams and stakeholders.

  • Ability to quickly assess and address legal risks, providing sound advice in high-pressure situations.

  • Strong analytical and research skills, with a detail-oriented approach to legal problem-solving.
